Characteristics of Fingers

In palm reading, the fingers are also analyzed.  In fact, a lot can be learned about a person just by scanning his fingers.  For example, the length of a person’s fingers can actually signify something.  A person with an index finger that is longer than the usual is characterized as a good leader and is most likely good at commanding and making orders.  However, a person with a relatively shorter index finger than the usual may be described as the opposite and is generally good at taking orders instead of making them which makes him a poor leader.  A person with a longer ring finger than the standard tend to have an excellent artistic talent, has a wild personality and is described as an adventurous and reckless type of person.  An unusually shorter little finger shows lack of ability in influencing others and signifies a tame and shy personality contrary to a person with a longer little finger which is described as articulate and very good in sales.  Heavy fingers signify a more physical nature while long and slim fingers signify emotional tendencies and an aggressive nature.  Stubby fingers are generally emotionally comfortable.

The shapes of the fingers also signify something about a person.  A person with square fingers is described as respectful and down-to-earth type while a pointed finger tends to signify being artistic and creative.  Spade-shaped fingers signify the ability of the person to invent and create amazing things while cone-shaped fingers represent a person with an imaginative nature.  Persons with straight fingers can be described as honest and trustworthy with a clear disposition and a pleasant good-natured quality.  Persons with crooked fingers, however, can be described as full of mischief; they generally carry a bad attitude and are often mean.  Nails also have significance.  Long nails signify a soft heart, short nails could imply an insecure and uneasy personality, wide nails are always connected with troubles and narrow nails characterize a soft, refined and conservative personality.

The spaces in between the fingers are also important determinants of a person’s quality and character.  A person with a little finger that stands apart from the ring finger with a significant amount of space in between them is characterized as a person with an independent mind, a kind of person that is capable of making his own decisions and has his own sense of judgment in various situations.  If the ring finger is closer to the middle finger, this signifies an artistic lifestyle.  Among individuals whose middle finger and index finger are close to each other, this signifies good leadership ability and authority among others to rule and create an influence.  It also shows a strong will and determination to achieve personal ambitions and aspirations.  These individuals are strong-willed, well-focused on their career and personal goals and takes their future quite seriously.
